In our course about John, we'll learn that his letters (1, 2, and 3 John) were written to address some serious problems in the early Church. Some people were spreading lies by denying that Jesus is the Son of God, but John reminds everyone that true teachers share the truth about Jesus, show love, and spread light instead of fear.
